Undercoating results

Pics of the underside of the engine compartment after stripping and 1st coat of MasterSeries primer. This primer can be applied with a bristle brush, roller or foam brush - the latter is what I primarily used, and you can see that the finish is very acceptable, almost no applicator marks. Buy the foam brushes with plastic handle - they are sturdier and don't fall apart in the painting process. The other thing I used was a 2" foam roller and that gives a great, smooth almost sprayed on finish. On these areas it would be nearly impossible to spray unless it was done before the finish paint was applied. In these pics you can really see the amount of welding that had to be done in these areas.
